With many years of experience in guitar making, restoration and teaching, professional luthier Giannis Seintoulas has guided a lot of students through the rewarding process of creating high-quality handmade instruments. Each course is carefully designed to combine craftsmanship, creativity and personal attention, allowing every student to progress at their own pace and according to their interests.
To ensure the highest level of guidance and a truly personalized experience, the number of participants is intentionally kept small, with private and one-on-one options available. No previous woodworking experience is required, making our courses suitable for beginners as well as more experienced enthusiasts.
Students have the opportunity to work with carefully selected tone woods and professional tools while learning every stage of the construction process. At the end of their journey, they leave not only with valuable knowledge and unforgettable memories, but also with a handmade guitar built with their own hands.

Materials
Everything needed to complete a professional-quality guitar is included in the package: carefully selected premium tone woods, featuring a solid European spruce or cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides, a Spanish cedar neck, ebony fingerboard, and rosewood bridge. The package also includes a bone nut and saddle, quality tuners, strings, and a protective case, so your instrument is fully finished and ready to play.
Tools and Equipment
All tools, machinery, and workshop equipment required for the course are provided. Students have full access to a professionally equipped luthier’s workshop, including specialized hand tools, measuring instruments, bending equipment, and finishing tools. Everything needed for the construction process is included, allowing participants to focus entirely on learning and building their instrument.
Exclusive One-on-One Instruction
To ensure the highest level of attention and guidance, only one participant is accepted at a time. This exclusive approach creates a truly personalized experience, allowing every stage of the instrument's construction to be tailored to the student's pace, interests, and goals.
Photos and Videos
Photos and videos taken throughout the construction process are included as part of the experience. Every stage of your guitar-making journey will be documented, providing you with a valuable visual archive that you can keep as a memory and use as a reference for future builds. By the end of the course, you will have a complete collection of images and videos capturing the creation of your instrument from start to finish.
Certificate of Participation
At the end of the course, each participant receives a Certificate of Participation from the Athens Guitar Making School. The certificate recognizes the successful completion of the program and serves as a lasting reminder of the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience gained throughout the guitar-making journey. Airport Transfer
For the convenience of our international students, airport transfer is provided as part of the package.
